“Blithe Spirit” rehearsals are continuing as we prepare to bring this delightful comedy to the stage.

This production is proudly sponsored by Ken Sutton State Farm Insurance. The play is also directed by Tom Wilbur and stage managed by Jessica Watts.

“Blithe Spirit” will be held from Sept. 20-29 with Friday and Saturday shows beginning at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday shows starting at 2:30 p.m. We know you will enjoy this production, which features cast members from around our region.

One of our cast members in this production is Rose Lee. Rose is portraying the role of Violet, who has come over to the house of Ruth and Charles to see this seance with a real medium. Of course, it is just for fun, but she is thrilled to see what happens.

Rose said she is most excited about this role because she gets to perform with such a great and talented group. She also loves her character because Violet is excited about the upcoming evening. Rose’s favorite production she has been a part of at SCT is “A Christmas Story.” Rose has been married to Timmy Lee for the past 10 years and she enjoys writing poems, skits and plays for her church and reading.

Come out to see Rose and her talented cast in September for “Blithe Spirit.”
