MOUNT OLIVE — The University of Mount Olive (UMO) will host its senior fall Art Show reception on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Teresa Pelt Grubbs Art Gallery in Laughinghouse Hall.

The Show will feature works by students representing the three major disciplines of the Department of Fine Arts: Art, Photography, and Graphic Design.

The graduating senior artists with works on display will be: Rionna Bissette, an art major from Goldsboro, Taylor Isaac, an art and photography double major from Elizabeth City; and Christen Filion a graphic design major from Goldsboro.

“It’s wonderful to see the unique blend of styles and personal aesthetics that our Art Show offers,” said Robert E. Murray, chair of the Department of Fine Arts and Associate Professor of Graphic Design. “Some of our students are just beginning their journey of finding their creative self-expression. While three of our seniors are completing their UMO journey and are ready to begin the real journey going forward.”

The show will remain up until mid-December.
