The Sampson Community College Foundation celebrated donors at a recent appreciation reception at the home of Anne Faircloth and Fred Dufour. The purpose of the foundation is to cultivate a broad base of community support for the college and seek external funds through the private sector to support the mission of the college. This year, the foundation was able to raise more than $600,000 in donations and grants to fund student scholarships and to support staff and student programs.
